Export Growth Program – Nova Scotia
Receive up to 50% of a max $25,000 in Funding.
The Export Growth Program (EGP) is a Nova Scotia business grant that supports export-related travel costs and fees associated with participating in lead-generating trade shows and conferences. Companies can offset many common business development costs such as trade show booth rental, conference registration fees, return economy travel, accommodations, in-market ground transportation, and fees for translators/interpreters.
Funding Amount
Up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum $15,000 for most SMEs. High-growth companies can receive up to $25,000 per project.
Eligible Applicants
Must have or plan to have commercial activities outside of Nova Scotia, have the ability to attract growth financing, have a fully-developed exportable product, service, technology, or intellectual property that can be sold outside of Nova Scotia, have an export plan, and have a plan to increase export sales as result of the project.
Eligible Activities
Out-of-province travel to see a client, potential partner, or investor, or inviting an out-of-province client/potential partner to visit Nova Scotia; participation in trade shows and conferences hosted outside of Nova Scotia.
