The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) program has launched another initiative to support dairy processors upgrade equipment to create and/or increase processing efficiencies and/or improve food safety.

Amount of Funding
Up to 50% of eligible costs to a max of $200K.

Eligible Applicants
Eligible Applicants include:
- Ontario dairy processors for cow, goat, sheet or water buffalo milk.

Eligible Activities
Eligible Projects include:
- incremental activities specifically required to create or increase processing efficiencies for Ontario facilities; or
- incremental activities specifically required to both create or increase processing efficiencies and improve food safety for Ontario facilities.

Program Deadline
- Applications are accepted beginning on April 2nd, on an on-going basis until funding is fully allocated.
- Project costs must be incurred on or after April 1, 2024 but before February 15, 2026.
