The Canadian Food Innovation Network (CFIN), funded in part by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, has launched a program designed to provide rapid support to food or beverage manufacturers who want to engage third-party support to analyze the sustainability of their operations.

70% non-repayable funding up to a max of $25K.

Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicant must be:
- A food or beverage manufacturer with at least 2 years of operations;
- Located in one of the Atlantic provinces: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland & Labrador; and
- Ready to engage an external vendor to develop and implement a strategy related to waste reduction, energy efficiency, packaging sustainability, or another eligible greening activity and provide a quote from a selected vendor.

Eligible Activities
Eligible activities include engaging a third-party consultant to conduct assessments, analysis, and strategy development related to green or sustainable practices:
- Consulting;
- Sub-contractor Fees; or
- Travel fees for consultants/contractors.
