Mitacs Enterprise is a wage subsidy for graduates in the science, technical, engineering, or math fields who are entering 6-month internship commitments.

Funding Amount

Access up to $15,000 per graduate or 50% of the intern(s)’ salary (CPP+EI) per company.

Eligible Applicants

STEM businesses and organizations are eligible to apply. Candidates must be graduates of a southern Ontario university.

Eligible Activities

Internships for graduates in the science, technical, engineering, or math fields based on a 6-month commitment.

The primary business focus of Mitacs applicants must be related to science, technology, engineering, math, bio-economy and clean technologies, advanced health technologies, pharmaceutical research and manufacturing, digital media, and/or information and communications technologies. Candidates must have graduated from a southern Ontario university.
