SCAP – Agri-Tech Innovation Initiative

Receive up to $100,000 in Government Funding.

The Agri-Tech Innovation Initiative is part of the federal Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) program. This initiative aims to support farmers and food processors invest in innovative technologies and capital to increase production levels. The program is also unique as it focuses on promoting cybersecurity within the agricultural industry.

Funding Amount

Up to 50% to a maximum of $100,000 for innovation technology and equipment projects.

Eligible Applicants

Program will provide funding to eligible farm and food processing businesses.

Eligible Activities

Helping farms and food processors invest in innovative technology, equipment or processes that will expand production capacity or enhance efficiency.
A focus for this program is funding projects that also enhance cyber security in the agriculture and food sector.

Deadline to Apply

Intake period begins on February 15, 2024 and ends on March 28, 2024.
