The NextGen Biofuels Fund is designed to assist project assessment, definition, building construction, design, engineering, environmental assessment, production equipment, and all labour costs related to the development of sustainable technology.
Funding Amount
Access up to 40% of Scale-up and Process Integration project costs to a maximum $250,000 per application.
Eligible Applicants
Canadian businesses and organizations who have demonstrated their technology on pilot scale using Canadian representative biomass are eligible to apply.
Eligible Activities
Costs of Scale-up and Process Integration projects to prove out the near full or full-scale production plant’s technical and financial performance of technologies.
