SCAP – AgriMarketing
Receive up to $10M in AgriMarketing Funding.
The SCAP – AgriMarketing program will support national agricultural sectors to increase and diversify exports. They hope to grow the economy by increasing the visibility of Canadian products worldwide and growing the capacity of exporting producers to identify and seize market development opportunities in targeted markets.

Amount of Funding
Up to 50% of eligible costs to a max. of $10M over 5 yrs (max. $2M/yr) in non-repayable funding.
A cost share of 70:30 (AAFC: You) may be considered by the program to support eligible project activities for:
- Underrepresented groups such as Indigenous-led and women-owned organizations in the agriculture, agri-food agri-based products sector; and
- Market diversification efforts targeting emerging markets in the Indo-Pacific Regions.

Eligible Applicants
In order to be eligible for funding from this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Not-for-profit organization or Indigenous organization;
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver a national and/or agriculture and agri-food sector-wide project;
- Member of the Canada Brand; and
- Legal entity capable of entering into legally binding agreements.

Eligible Activities
The project must focus on activities that:
- Support national agricultural sectors to increase and diversify exports to international markets and seize domestic market opportunities;
- Grow the economy by increasing and diversifying Canadian exports of agriculture, agri-food, agri-based products;
- Increase the visibility of Canadian products; and
- Increase the capacity of exporting producers to identify and seize market development opportunities in targeted markets.

Program Deadline
Applications will be accepted from March 6, 2023 until September 30, 2027; however, the application period may close sooner if funding has been fully committed. The program ends March 31, 2028.
