Community Futures Program – Community Futures Development Corporation
Receive up to $150,000 in Loan Funding.
The Community Futures Program provides existing small businesses and start-ups financing for business activities aimed at growth, regional economic diversification, and job creation. Businesses can apply for up to $150,000 in funding for the purchase of fixed assets, leasehold improvements, capital equipment, and operating capital. The program is administered by the 61 CFDCs across Ontario.
Funding Amount
Up to $150,000 loan (prime +2-3%) with average funding between $40,000 and $150,000.
Eligible Applicants
Existing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups are eligible. You must be applying for funding that will help improve the local economy, create or retain jobs, or provide long-term growth.
Eligible Activities
The purchase of fixed assets, leasehold improvements, capital equipment, and operating capital.
