With the help of the Export Development Program (EDP) provided by the Government of Manitoba, businesses can increase participation in trade missions and trade fairs held outside of the province in order to boost exports.

Up to 50% of eligible expenses or up to $30,000 in cost-matching funds per year.

Eligible Applicants
Applicants are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
- Registered SMEs with more than half of full-time employees residing in Manitoba; and
- $100K-$50M in annual, taxed revenues during the company’s last full fiscal year.

Eligible Activities
Projects must support entering a new market outside of Manitoba via:
- Tradeshow/mission registration;
- Establishing booth exhibit space;
- Travel and accommodations for events; and/or
- Market research.

Program Deadline
The EDP will have an ongoing rolling application process. Applications must be received at least 60 days before the tradeshow/mission event date.
