Canadian Government Grants for Hiring Dispersed through IRAP & ESDC (formerly HRSDC)
Internships supported by Canadian government grants for hiring will be dispersed through the Youth Employment Program (YEP) of the of the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), and by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)’s Career Focus Program –formerly known as HRSDC (Human Resources and Skills Development Canada).
Grants for the Canadian Government Offered through NRC IRAP to Support R&D Efforts
NRC IRAP’s Youth Employment Program (YEP) will provide small to mid-sized firms that are undertaking research and development (R&D) projects Canadian business grants for hiring highly skilled post-secondary graduates to help with research, development and commercialization of technology activities. Internships provided through the ESDC’s Career Focus program will also aim to help businesses hire post-secondary graduates, helping them gain real-life work experience in various high-demand fields.
