Small Business Grants: ecoENERGY Efficiency for Industry Program
The ecoENERGY Efficiency for Industry Program is a part of a wider initiative that was begun by the Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE); Canada’s Centre for Excellence for Energy, efficiency and alternative fuels information.  This program is an effort by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to help promote the adoption of an energy management standard by accelerating energy-saving investments and exchanging best-practices information within Canada’s industrial sector.
Benefit of ecoENERGY Efficiency for Industry via Canadian Government Funding:
The program provides a financial incentive of up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $25,000 in Canadian small business grants for implementation as well as several other benefits, including:
- Supports the sharing of industry best practices and improve energy efficiency in more than 25 industrial sectors across Canada;
- Supports early implementation of the new ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard;
- Provides Energy cost savings workshops on topics such as  Energy Management Information Systems; Re-commissioning; Energy Management Planning, etc. ;
- Provides bi-weekly newsletters and reports;
How to Qualify for these Small Business Funding Grants for Business
Once Natural Resources Canada has reviewed and approved the claim and final report, you will receive a reimbursement cheque.
