For decades, Indigenous, Black, and other racialized communities in Ontario have faced obstacles when accessing resources – whether it is education, justice, or even housing.
Community-based projects contribute to creating healthy and vibrant societies, fostering a sense of belonging for everyone involved. In this context, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) plays a pivotal role by offering grants that empower organizations to enhance spaces, support youth, and innovate systems. With these different grant streams, the foundation aims to alleviate the systematic injustices against minority groups.
