Canadian Government Grants to Support Innovative SMEs
Business Innovation Access Program (IRAP- BIAP) is a new Canadian government grants program that leverages the networks and knowledge of the NRC’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to help connect small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) with universities, colleges and other research institutions in order to overcome obstacles to realizing commercialization of new products and services.

Included within the set of activities eligible for Canadian government funding are external business services:
- Planning and Marketing
- Technical Services
- Specialized Testing
- Product Prototyping, and;
- Process Development
