The IRAP Accelerated Review Process (ARP) is available for incorporated Canadian companies who conduct R&D in-house. If your business meets these criteria, the IRAP ARP small business grant will support 80% of direct labour costs and 50% of subcontractor fees up to $50,000 related to the selection, preparation, installation, and customization of a new or existing ERP system. Most IRAP Government Funding schedules run from April 1st to March 31st of every year and funding is allocated to various regions across Canada.
IRAP DTAPP: Small Business Funding Grants for ERP Adoption/Upgrades
The IRAP Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) was created to help support Canadian companies who are looking to increase their internal efficiencies through the adoption of new technology. Thus, companies looking to implement, upgrade, or customize an ERP system within their corporation can receive up to $100K in small business grants, covering 80% of direct labor and 75% sub-contractor.

iSTEM/Graduate Enterprise Internship: Grant Funding for Hiring an ERP Manager
Implementing or upgrading an ERP system is a very resource intensive process, even with the help of third party consultants. Luckily, the iSTEM hiring grant program allows small businesses to hire a science, technical, engineering, or math graduate for 6-months to assist with ERP installation, customization, maintenance, and training. Also known as the Graduate Enterprise Internship (GEI), iSTEM covers 50% of the recent graduate’s wage up to $10,000 for a Bachelor’s graduate and $15,000 for a Master’s or Ph.D graduate.
