APX has received funding to further commercialize the CityScape first responder technology.
Advance Property eXposure Canada Inc. has received a $615,000 repayable contribution from FedDev Ontario.

First Responders Mobile Technology Solution Receives $615k
The CityScape Suite contains four applications: SmartCapture, SmartView, Smart Trainer, and SmartInspect. These programs reduce the risk for responders and their communities by generating image-rich, shareable, and interactive building and onsite data records.
FedDev Ontario has provided an investment of $615k to further commercialize the SmartCapture and SmartView software applications, which can immediately show first responders building layouts and floor plans on smartphones and tablets.
Funding for the mobile technology solutions will allow APX to provide municipalities with more innovative technology to collect information on buildings and distribute the necessary data within seconds. It will also support APX in its efforts to scale-up and compete as an industry leader in North America.
The software development project will also create up to 15 full-time jobs in southern Ontario.
