Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnership Fund
Co-administered by the Ontario Media Development Corporation, the Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund is a program of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. This fund assists Ontario’s Entertainment and Creative Cluster stakeholders in the commercial theatre, film and television, interactive digital media, music and book and magazine industries by supporting partnerships that develop new innovated solutions to the conflicts and necessities of the cluster. This fund has a deadline, which the application must be submitted by, this year, it is September 2011.
Eligibility Factors
Companies applying for this funding must be in one of the following industries:
- Book Publishing;
- Commercial Theatre;
- Film Production;
- Interactive Digital Media;
- Magazine Publishing;
- Music Companies; and
- Television Production.
Eligible partners for this project must be with either a recognized industry trade association, consortium of two or more non-associated companies, colleges and university with existing relevant research projects, and creator organizations.
Your company must be incorporated, Ontario-based, and have a minimum of $100,000 in revenue. Your business must also have a primary focus on the creation and exploitation of media and be financial sound in order to carry out the project.
Funding Amount
Successful applicants will receive funding support of 70% of the project in non-refundable contributions. An audited cost report will be required on projects exceeding $100,000.
