Research Innovation Centres: Events for Small Businesses
The Research Innovation Centres (RIC) form a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting Canadian SMEs and innovative entrepreneurs. They organize various workshops and symposiums to provide small businesses with Canadian Government funding advice and business networking opportunities. They are holding several of these events in Southern Ontario within the upcoming months.
Small Business Workshop: Power Up Your Productivity Potential
The RIC is presenting an innovation and networking workshop for Canadian SMEs across all sectors. The event will discuss the potential benefits from adopting best practices and implementing new technologies. Guest speakers will provide advice towards funding for startups, such as the Canadian Business Financing Grants and Government Funded Technology Adoption Programs. Participants will also receive Canadian Government funding advice towards potential Business Expansion or Human Resource and Hiring programs for small businesses. Business Event for Green Innovators: PostGlobe 2012
This event intends to bring hundreds of the world’s leading green innovators together to discuss the past, present, and future of sustainable business products and practices. Topics of discussion will include the R&D involving NextGen Biofuels and other Sustainable Technologies. The event will provide networking and marketing opportunities to those who are looking to Commercialize their Green Innovations.

Innovation & Networking Seminar: How to Evaluate Your New Ideas?
RIC is hosting an event for innovative entrepreneurs and advanced manufacturers who are looking to transform their ideas into viable products or services. The event hosts highly experienced guest speakers who will provide advice and helpful information towards the R&D process. Attendees will receive a useful overview of Canadian Government Funding for Research and Development along with the potential benefits from Post-Secondary Collaboration. The event will be split up into a six session program.
