This speaker series sheds light on the future of the meat and poultry industry, and the strategic decisions that can be made to meet present needs without compromising the needs of future generations. Vision and leadership is essential across the value chain for a sustainable meat and poultry industry. OIMP Industry day will discuss this vision and leadership in the context of the economic, social and environmental impacts that can be made.

This presentation will detail the retailer’s commitment to sustainability, and their expectations when working with processors. The Retailer Perspective will have an emphasis on the production of meat & poultry products in a more environmentally-friendly manner.

A panel OIMP members including Cory Van Groningen of VG Meats; Richard Halenda of Halenda FineFoods and the Meat Depot; Kevin Stemmler of Stemmler Meats and Cheese will conclude the event with a discussion on the future of the meat & poultry industry.
