Since 2011, Shannon McLuhan has been an Account Manager for the Small Business Solutions Ontario Team at Export Development Canada (EDC). Shannon supports Canadian companies doing business abroad with annual revenues of $10 Million and below. She specializes in selling and advising on financial products available to small and medium sized companies to assist in their market expansions globally; as well having expertise on current worldwide market intelligence. She is responsible for the territory covering Toronto up to Etobicoke in the West, Scarborough in the East and North York to the North and also includes Barrie, Ontario. Shannon often speaks at various workshops in the GTA area and is continuously engaging with her business partners (commercial lenders, lawyers, accountants, and BDC Account Managers) to further support Canadian companies doing business abroad. Shannon has her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Laurentian University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Business Management from Georgian College and attained her designation as a Certified International Trade Professional from Georgian College.
