Innovate in York: Manufacturing Conference

Manufacturing companies in the GTA region should look into the Innovate in York business event next week. Held as a free event for the York Region manufacturers, Innovate in York will showcase innovation opportunities to help accelerate growth and improve revenue performance. The event is open to manufacturers, industry partners, and academia.

When: Tuesday, December 6, 2012 @ 8:30am – 2:30pm

Where: Bellagio, 8540 Jane Street, Vaughan Ontario

Innovate in York will consist of networking opportunities, in addition to two informative panels consisting of funding panelists from the chair of the National Angel Capital Organization and experts on government grants and subsidies. Finally, a keynote presentation by Idris Mootee, CEO of Idea Couture, will focus on the radical change caused by the global economic crisis and hyper competition. Idris will dive into the effects of these on consumer choices and what the necessary organizational capabilities are for sustainable innovation.
