Going Global Innovation: Research and Development Funding for 2012 Open
*Check back with us regularly for updates on this program as we are expecting new funding to be released some time between June and July of 2013.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) is accepting another round of applications for their Canadian government funding program called Going Global Innovation. Applicants who are accepted into the program will receive government funding towards specific project expenditures. These expenditures must be related to the creation of relationships with potential global partners and product developers.
Government Funding for R&D
The GGI program is intended on providing innovative SMEs in the science and technology fields with an opportunity to attract foreign direct investment and global R&D partnerships. Applications require an 8 week review process so the funding will apply to projects occurring from March 2012 onwards. For those who would like more information on Doing Business Abroad and other R&D programs or application details, please see our Government Funding for Research and Development programs and Innovation Grants.
