SMART Productivity Workshop Presented by CME –April 24th in Ancaster, ON
Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) is holding a SMART Productivity Workshop at the Ancaster Mill in Ancaster, Ontario. Founded in 1871, CME is Canada’s largest trade and industry association representing more than 10,000 leading companies nationwide. CME offers regular events across Canada; this specific event focuses on manufacturing productivity and how to improve efficiencies throughout a company through innovation and continuous improvement.
About the April 24th SMART Productivity Workshop
The Ontario government originally provided CME with $25 million dollars in order to deliver the CME SMART Program. Since 2008, funding provided to manufacturers through the CME SMART Prosperity Now program helped more than 400 businesses across Ontario focus on lean manufacturing while improving energy efficiency and information technology adoption. While both productivity and employment gains can be attributed to the program, its success also generated a wealth of knowledge, information and best practices to share. At this workshop CME will communicate the learning’s from this program and discuss further opportunity to build on the success of the CME SMART program.
CME will be partnering with Grant Thornton for this event, who will be on hand to provide tools and techniques to support your own journey to operational excellence.
